Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how India Hausa TV ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile app and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Wisehive Sphere Ltd.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: username, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password when you register.
Device & usage information: device identifier and device model (to keep your account signed in on a device and detect unusual sign-ins), IP address, and a push notification token (used to deliver notifications about new content).
Viewing activity: watch history, playback progress, your watchlist, and likes, so we can resume playback and personalize recommendations.
Payment information: if you subscribe to VIP membership through our website, we (or our payment partners) process your plan, amount, and payment status. If you pay by bank transfer, we store the receipt image you upload solely to verify your payment.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
- To stream content, resume playback, and maintain your watchlist.
- To verify and activate VIP subscriptions.
- To send you push notifications about new content (you can disable these in your device settings).
- To detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce free-trial limits.
- To improve and troubleshoot the Service.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (Google) for push notifications and app diagnostics, and third-party payment processors to handle card and bank payments on our website. These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
4. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your account and associated personal data as described below.
5. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. This permanently removes your profile, watch history, watchlist, likes, device logs, and uploaded payment receipts.

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including password hashing, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
